Stay & Play

Stay and Play sessions are every Thursday morning  9.00 am – 11.30 am and Friday morning 9.00 am – 11.30 am.

All children up to 5 years are welcome to attend, and are to be accompanied by parents or carers.

You will get to meet us all and your child will have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities, become familiar with the setting and make new friends.

The sessions make the transition of starting pre-school so much easier.

Session fee is £1.50 to include refreshments

Pre-School

Pre-school for children aged 2 – 5. 

Our friendly staff are experienced at helping new children to settle in, but parents are very welcome to stay during a child’s first session if they wish.

£4 per hour

We offer full day care, 5 days a week.
We offer, for those eligible, 30 free funded hours for 3 & 4 year olds, and 15 free funded hours for eligible 2 year olds.

Out of School Care

Out of School hours are open to all ages of children from 2 years up to 11 years.

Early Bees
Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 9:00 am
Charges are £3 for each half hour, to include breakfast.

Buzz Club
Monday – Thursday 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Charges for Buzz Club are £3 per half hour.
Bumblebees Staff collect the children from Broadwas School. Buzz Club fees include high tea.

Pre-School Information

We offer, for those eligible:
30 free funded hours – 15 universal hours and 15 additional hours of free childcare and education for three and four years old.
15 Free funded hours for two years old.

Full day care: 5 days a week.

Invoices are issued, in advance, at the beginning of each half term.
All extra sessions are then charged on the next half term’s invoice.

All children from the term following their third birthday, may claim Government funding for up to fifteen hours a week. This funding is paid directly to the Pre-school and is used for the general day to day running of the group.

If you wish to divide your fifteen hours worth of funding between two providers, you may do so. The Government will divide this accordingly, but each provider is then entitled to ask you for top-up payment, we charge this at our hourly rate. Please ask for more information.

Please note Government funding is available for two years old, depending on circumstance. Please contact your local Children’s Centre for details.

Out-of-School Information

Out of School hours are open to all ages of children from 2 years up to 11 years.

Charges for Early Bees are £2.75 for each half hour, to include breakfast (children’s choice) from a menu comprising of :- 

  • Cereals
  • Toast
  • Sandwiches
  • Drinks of water or milk.

Buzz Club
Our current opening hours are:- 
Monday  3.30pm – 5.30pm
Tuesday  3.30pm – 5.30pm
Wednesday 3.30pm – 5.30pm
Thursday 3.30pm – 5.30pm

Charges for Buzz Club are £2.75 per half hour.

  • Fresh fruit or vegetables sticks.
  • Toasted sandwiches – Beans or Cheese.
  • Toast – Butter or Jam.
  • Sandwiches – various.

  • Wraps 
  • Drinks of water or milk.
