Breakfast is provided, and your child can choose from a selection of cereals, toast, fruit and water or milk.
The pre-school is equipped with a superb range of toys and educational aids. All equipment and resources are easily accessible for child-initiated play, including computers, reading area, and an outdoor play area with safety surfacing to which the children have free access at all times.
During each day there are also varied teacher-led activities, often inspired by the term’s theme. Past themes have included Mini-Beasts, Pirates & Mermaids, Knights & Princesses, Transport, Animals, Dinosaurs, Space.
Regular activities include:
Welly Wednesday – Morning activity, rain or shine, based on forest school style learning.
Puppets, Praise, Prayers and Play – First Thursday every month during term time. Lead by Rev.David Sherwin and the Open the book team at St Mary Magdalene Church, Broadwas.
During lunchtime children are all sat together to eat; either lunches provided from home, or pre-ordered cooked dinners from The Royal Oak. Click here for more information
High tea will be provided late afternoon, so your child will be well fed and relaxed ready for pick up anytime before 5.30 pm (Fridays by 3.30 pm).
